CLOMP CLOMP: The heavy footsteps
echo on the stairs
from out of the depths comes
the plea for help
unspoken but obvious in the bloodshot
eyes surrounded by the pale skin of a cave dweller
#1 daughters project continues to crash the Internet
each time it runs
the Universitys lookin
for the mysterious virus
she cant go on undiscovered
much longer
weve jes returned from
gettin gas
(I spose in
the long run itll be gas anyway

havin visions o Vidalia onions dancin
in my head
n Im not even asleep yet!)
I sit down at the table to listen to her explanation
of the problem
its a simple concept
the mappin of a set of lines onto a grid such that
one n only one line segment resides in a grid
unless of course the lines join at a common vertices
then given the map (in the form of a quadtree) determine
the shortest path between two points

patiently listenins even weaker

thing I know the alarms goin off n its
time for me to head to the office
to continue workin
on my quadtree mappin algorithm to find the shortest
distance between two points which is due by 2:00 AM tomorrow
I wish shed hurry up n finish so I
could steal her work!
