| Several sites influenced me in the development of my web
pages. The first technical reference I found that offered a concise explanation
of the HTML elements was the HTML
Reference Manual used by Sandia Laboratories. A lot of work was invested
in those pages and I used them extensively. But their gone now. You'll find
a link on their page to some other resources. Too bad.
When it came time to decide on how I should organzie my pages I stumbled across the Yale Style Guide. There are a lot of tips on how to layout your site and I incorporated a lot of them here. And they've been kind enough to update the publication and put out a second edition. Bravo! There are many other sites and you'll find them on my lists of pages and I encourage you to visit them. Have fun creating your web presence and I hope to hear from you someday. |
