Sites I Found Interesting
Art
- PWHK Studio
Photography
- Stunning! The photography throughout the site is fantastic.
But it's so much more! The Asia Journal 2001 is a remarkable
blend of travelogue and images that leaves you feeling as if
you had taken the trip personally. While the Poetical Quotidian
is a clever touch of literature. It's refreshing to visit a
"non-technical" site with substantial and interesting
content.
Big City Art, Chicago
Watercolors
- It defies the imagination to see what this man can do with
his subjects using watercolors. A must see!
Jochen
Brennecke
- Special images for those special tastes. Remember this is
art so there are lots of images.
Mythopoeia
- For something quite different check this site out. It's amazing
what you can do with cameras and some image processing. Very
strong images.
Astronomy
- SKYWATCHER'S
DIARY
- Changes each month. Provides serious information for the skywatcher.
Provides excellent cocktail conversation for some of us less
ardent watchers. Just don't get caught pretending to know more
than you do!
Comedy
- The
Dilbert Zone
- Missed the funnies today? Never fear, catch the latest strip.
Skeleton
Closet: All of the Scandals on All of the Presidential Election
Candidates: Clinton, Dole, Nader, Gramm, Buchanan, Forbes, Alexander,
Dornan, Keyes, Etc.
- I think these folks are serious but I thought it was funny
so I put it under comedy. Let me know if you agree.
Genealogy
- The
Defenders
- A list of the Defenders of the Alamo and their place of origin.
Vital
Records Information State Index
- Now this is a very useful site. Need your birth certificate?
Marriage records? This site'll show you how to get them.
I Can't Think of a Category
- Battlefield
Earth Site: Introduction
- I've read the book! Fantastic! I think it was before L. Ron
Hubbard got religion - or whatever it was he got. The site appears
rude - but then we're just humans! They claim you need RealAudio,
Shockwave, latest Netscape and QuickTime VR. Us po' folks may
miss some action.
Stoli
Central
- Intended for surfers of legal drinking age only. Some may
find this site amusing.
Fortune Telling, Black Magick, Occult
- The following sites cover a wide range of topics dealing with
such mundane things as Horoscopes and Biorhythms to more esoteric
subjects like writings by the Mad Arab and Aleister Crowley. A
very tolerant and open mind is required.
Al
Azif : The Manuscript Liber Logaeth
- Al Azif - The Cipher Manuscript known as "Necronomicon".
Written in 730 CE.
Aunt
Agatha's Occult Emporium
- Pagan and metaphysical gathering place. Buy your crystals
and tools of the trade at Aunt Agatha's.
Biorhythm
Generator
- Feeling stupid, clumsy or depressed? It's probably just the
low point in your cycle so go find out for sure.
Commotion
Strange
- This is probably an odd place to put this but since I don't
know Ms. Rice I didn't want to put her under my People category.
Besides, maybe she's not! She seems to have a pretty graphic
vision of Vampires and such - maybe just a little to graphic?
I-Ching
- I don't understand how this works but I'm sure if I did it
enough it would become clear. Maybe you can spend some time
then educate me.
Tarot
- Seven decks! Loads of graphics! WARNING - The readings can
be very depressing. But the artwork is worth it.
Tarot
Inspiration
- If you like "The Book of Thoth" by Aleister Crowley
and the associated Tarot deck then this is the place for you.
Theatre
des Vampires
- If you're part of the Anne Rice fan club then you simply MUST
visit this site!
Soccer
Federation
Internationale de Football Association
- Wondering about the calls your ref is making? You can find
out the Official Law straight from the horse's mouth. Don't
mean mouth the referee again unless you have your facts!
Real People Home Pages
Doug's Guide
to Keeping a Green Iguana
- They're so cute! And small! But guess what?? There's more
to Iguanas than you might imagine. Hear the "inside" scoop from
an expert (what better teacher than experience!!). Read Doug's
Guide before you make the leap -- both you and you're intended
pet will be glad you did!!
Diana and
Doug Faust's Homepage
- This 'shy' lady has created a fantastic site! Her family
connection theme is an excellent model for other families to
follow. Drop by and tell her Mikey sent you.
The
Pope
- Even the Pope's cool! Tell him Mikey says Hi!
Serendipity
- Like the title suggests - you'll find a little bit about a
lot of things at Peter Meyer's Web Site. His opinions don't
necessarily reflect my opinions - he's into free speech!
Steponme's
Zoo
- Everything you ever wanted to know about newts and other
lovely creatures. Just whatever you do - don't click on the
picture of the cute puppy - unless you've got a large box of
tissues handy!
Stuff
You Are Better Off Not Knowing!
- Airyn is just your ordinary run of the mill computer consultant
- NOT! Don't go here if you're easily twisted and deformed.
Happy Families!
- You think you've got problems, foibles, weird relatives?
You should check out this site! Very funny and refreshing!
Jaimes Alsop
- The Alsop Review. A literary haven for the more intellectual
set.
